LightScribe is an innovative technology that offers consumers and businesses a simple, neat way to create professional, silkscreen-quality labels for their CDs and DVDs, combining text and graphics without the need for markers or messy adhesives

.There’s no longer any need for a printer either, as LightScribe uses the same laser that burns the data onto the disc in your CD/DVD writer. Once the disc has burned, simply turn the disc over, reinsert it into the writer and burn a label.

LightScribe Media Version 1.2 coating technology is now available, offering a faster burn time and higher contrast and is compatible with all existing LightScribe-enabled drives and labelling software after a simple download of a new driver file.
